How to: Collect Indian Coins

Coin collection can be done on various themes such as:

1. Ancient coins
2. Coins of Princely states
3. Pre-independence coins - British and other settlers
4. Republic India coinage
5. Commemorative coins
6. Other Theme coins

This list is not exhaustive. Make your choice. I am not saying you shouldn't try all. But it is much easier to concentrate on a chosen few. Don't hoard your coins in boxes and pouches. Find the appropriate storage. Locate literatures, Information and data and prepare charts and post your coins. Needles to say that this makes your collection beautiful, educative and meaningful and provides inspiration to others!!
